Coffee and Refreshments 8:00 to 8:30am, presentations begin at 8:30am. 

Transform your water-intensive lawn in-to a beautiful, drought tolerant landscape that features low-water trees, native grasses, perennials, and shrubs.

This workshop presents step-by-step methods of turf removal, soil amendment, and irrigation best practices that make the most out of each drop. Landscape design concepts, with a focus on plant species that have proven successful in the varied climate conditions of Solano and neighboring counties.

Morning presentations are followed by afternoon demonstrations and hands-on activities for lawn removal, garden design, planting, and irrigation. Native and drought-tolerant plants will be on hand. Material presented is appropriate for home-owners and professionals alike, so all are welcome!

Workshop fee: $25 CNGA members/$30 non-members

Course fee includes morning refreshments, lunch and course materials
